· Founded and still running a generative writing workshop, OnTwoSix creating prompts, leading all levels of writers from all genres, as well as inviting rotating guest facilitators with an emphasis on femme identified and POC leading the group. Making space in my Fruitvale home for the artists to survive and thrive by building a network of connections that nurture each other’s work.
· Founding member of the Mills Oakland Writers Workshop, facilitating writing workshops with Mills MFA students, introducing them to the work of local writers and inviting them to Oakland events.
· Featured lecturer to Creative Writing students at Oakland School of the Arts, Berkeley City College, and Mills College MFA program.
· Co-Founder of MoonDrop Productions, a quarterly-themed, submission-based reading series. With strong themes of empowerment such as our Black Woman is God show created in conjunction with the art installation at SomaArts in San Francisco.
